The Gatineau Loppet is considered to be the greatest international cross-country ski
event in Canada and also hosts a Fat Bike and Snowshoe race.
A non-profit, volunteer organization that applies best practices developed through our affiliation with the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA). We build working relationships with land managers, develop and manage year-round trails, promote mountain biking initiatives, and host events for our local mountain biking community.
Lachute – Montebello – Mont Tremblant & Gatineau, QC
The CSM is a two-day, 160 kilometer ski event that is divided into 5 sections each day, with an average of 16 kms per section. Skiers of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate. There are feed stations, first aid and toilets available at the end of each section, as well as shuttle buses that run between accommodation and checkpoints throughout each day.
The Ottawa Bicycle Club is one of the oldest and largest bicycle clubs in Canada, with more
than 1100 members.The OBC offers a range of cycling programs which appeal to a range of cyclists
from novice to experienced riders, for all age groups, including youth.
Rideau Lakes Cycling Tour is now in it's 47th year. This two-day ride takes you through picturesque towns and villages along the Rideau Lakes waterway to the shores of Lake Ontario.
July 20th - 22nd, Mont Ste-Marie, QC
Mountain Fest has become one of the premiere East Coast mountain bike events. Run by the not-for-profit Velo MSM trail crew, with assistance from Mont Ste Marie management, this fundraiser has enabled the trail organization to continue the expansion and maintenance of the trail system.
Ottawa, ON to Cornwall, ON
Beginning at the Metcalfe Arena, you will cycle along country roads and along the Long Sault Parkway to the NAV Centre in Cornwall. Along the way, rest stops with water, snacks, first aid, and mechanical support will be provided. Push yourself to the limits by cycling another 55 or 90km back to Metcalfe where you will enjoy a welcome by other participants, volunteers, and supporters and a BBQ lunch.
