• Spikes work best on ice at the minimum pressure
• At max pressure, noise is reduced to a minimum on ice-free roads
• Note, new studded tires require a "bed-in period." Tires should be run in for approx. 40km (25 miles) on asphalt without heavy acceleration or braking to ensure studs are fully set. After this distance the tires can be ridden normally.
